The entry rules will be added once they have been checked on the building's official website.

History of the house

In the 18th and 19th centuries Aachen was a popular fashionable spa. The Neue Redoute (1782–1786, Jakob Couven), later called the “Old Kurhaus”, was the seat of the Aachen casino until 1854.

The New Kurhaus in the Kurpark opened on 8 June 1916; from 1976 to 2015 it housed the casino. A reopening of the building as an event venue is planned for 2026.

Today the casino is at the Tivoli, Krefelder Straße 205 – not in the New Kurhaus.
